The Proud Trust (formerly LGBT Youth North West) supports young gay, lesbian, trans and bisexual people aged 8-25. We exist to make sure that all LGBT young people can be happy, proud of who they are and able to live the life they deserve. We do this via:
- Youth groups delivered across the North West region;
- Education and training for young people and youth professionals. This is done through workshops in schools and youth work settings.
- Networks for youth workers and partnerships with wider organisations working with LGBT young people;
- Regional and national events to enable young people and adults to come together, raise awareness, have fun and support each other.
Would you like to get involved? You can help in lots of ways:
- staff fundraising;
- selling Proud Trust wristbands and mugs in your reception or canteen;
- volunteering in our cafe or allotment;
- nominating the Proud Trust to be your Charity of the Year;
- talking to people about the work we do.
