Welcome to The Red Snowshoe's Bed and Breakfast, an oasis for those seeking a civilized and romantic camping experience. Our 12 acre farmstead is nestled in the woods on a quiet back road adjacent to the picturesque Slocan River in the Kootenay’s beautiful Slocan Valley. We're conveniently located 30 minutes from Nelson or Castlegar off Hwy 6. An opportunity to relax and enjoy your personal time without the distraction of other guests. A luxurious tent outfitted in Canadiana style awaits you. If you would like to enjoy a little farm life for yourselves, our animals are all very friendly so feel free to collect eggs, visit with the goats or even groom the horses. You can wander the vegetable garden, experience the river or explore the forests and trails. Alternatively you could play croquet in your PJs while sipping champagne, throw horseshoes, or simply swing in the hammock while dozing in the sunshine with a good book and a cup of tea.
