"At the Interface of Research and Industry" TRON (Translational Oncology at the University Medical Center of the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz ) is a transdisciplinary, not-for-profit research organization based at the University Medical Center of the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz. We translate innovation into products that promote human health. TRON brings together the latest concepts, cutting-edge technologies and expert know-how in genomics and next-generation sequencing, bioinformatics and biostatistics, immunology, immunotherapies, and molecular biology to facilitate the development of new drugs, medical applications and techniques. We serve as a hub in the Rhein-Main region, coordinating and accelerating drug and diagnostic research projects in the public-private interface.
