UNITED INSURANCE COMPANY (UIC) is one of the premier insurance companies in Syria with 8 branches including the Head Office and will also start operation in two more branches this year as part of its Growth strategy. It was established in 2006 by a group of Syrian and Arab businessmen with a paid up capital of SYP 850,000,000. UIC received license number one from the Syrian Insurance Supervisory Commission (SISC) and became the First Private Insurance Company to operate in Syria in mid 2006.
Through the dynamic Board of Directors headed By Dr. Abdul Rahman Attar, the sound leadership of its top management and a team of professional and qualified staff, the company has ascended to this status and acquired the image of being a quality insurance company.
