Västtrafik har hand om kollektivtrafiken i hela Västra Götaland. Vi vill att den ska funka så bra att du och alla andra kan låta bilen stå nästan jämt – och på så sätt spara både pengar och miljö.
2 700 bussar, tåg, spårvagnar och båtar. 22 000 hållplatser. 39 000 körda mil per dygn (en sträcka motsvarande närmare 12 varv runt jorden). Det gör Västtrafik till Sveriges näst största kollektivtrafikföretag. Vi samordnar kollektivtrafiken, gör tidtabeller och bestämmer rutter och turer. Men, till skillnad från vad många tror, kör vi inte bussarna, spårvagnarna, färjorna och tågen själva. All trafik upphandlas och körs på entreprenad.
