Van Dam Custom Boats is a privately held company, founded in 1977 by Steve Van Dam and is headquartered in Boyne City, Michigan. Designers and builders of one-of-a-kind sail and power boats, the boats that are commissioned by Van Dam are never reproduced unless permission is given by the original owner. This fundamental belief maintains the integrity of both the investment to their clients and of their boat designs. Van Dam is the only custom wood boat company known to offer a lifetime guarantee on the structural integrity and craftsmanship of their boats. A Van Dam boat is more often than not handed down from generation to generation.
