Vergent Bioscience develops molecular imaging probes for both diagnostic and research use. Our current portfolio for research includes optical fluorescent imaging probes for detecting caspases in inflammation and apoptotic cells. Imaging probes can be used for small animal imaging, microscopy and flow cytometry applications. Optical fluorescent probes enable non-invasive imaging of apoptosis in real time, longitudinal studies. Fluorescent probes are available in green, red and near infrared (NIR).
Caspases and apoptosis is relevant in disease conditions such as cancer, cardiovascular, inflammation, neurodegenerative and ophthalmology as well as others. Our diagnostic portfolio is currently in preclinical phases.
