Watan Oil and Gas is an exploratory, development and production company involved in the Oil and Gas sector. Watan Oil and Gas partnered with China National Petroleum Company (CNPC) were successful in their joint venture bid, which in December 2011 received Afghanistan's first big contract for oil field exploration and development. The three oil fields estimated to contain 87 million barrels of oil.
