West Studios is a new Arts Centre based in Chesterfield, previously supported through ERDF funding. Our mission is to provide Chesterfield with a creative space for the creative community.
We offer a large informal reception area, exhibition space, drop-in studio, meeting room and shared studio space for 18 start-up & newly established creative businesses. Through this space, we are able to create a supportive & nurturing environment for a broad range of small creative businesses at all stages of development.
Within our business development packages we provide free social media support and one to one training, as well as Business Development Workshops.
We also house more specific events such as Specialist Makers events, Expos, Pop-up Shops, Painting and Drawing workshops including Life Drawing and Exhibitions, as well as offering young people the skills to work in the Creative Sector through our Creative Traineeship Programme.
