We provide hospital-based services from three main sites - the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch, Kidderminster Hospital and Treatment Centre, and Worcestershire Royal Hospital in Worcester.
We provide a wide range of services to a population of more than 550,000 people in Worcestershire as well as caring for patients from surrounding counties and further afield.
Annually we provided care to over 211,000 different patients – that is 38% of the Worcestershire population received care at one of our hospitals.
In total, we see 730,000 patient admissions or contacts, which equates to about 2000 patients per day, including:
139,000 A&E attendances
52,000 emergency admissions
65,000 planned operations
5,800 deliveries
468,000 outpatient attendances
