Wyant Group, formerly known as VWAG truly began with the purchase of Jubilee Ford in Saskatoon, in November 1983. Vaughn Wyant returned to his hometown after refining both sales and management skills in Vancouver, BC and then Carstairs, AB.
Vaughn’s aggressive marketing approach took Saskatoon by storm in the early ‘80’s and set the tone for what would become the strength of his business reputation. In the twenty-five years that have passed, he has established a valid and valuable business model based upon “honesty of practice, care for customers and employees alike and essential support for community.”
In 1994 Vaughn purchased Saskatchewan’s Jaguar franchise. To follow came both Volvo and Land Rover for Saskatchewan, in 1996 and 2002 respectively.
In 2001, Mitsubishi arrived in Canada and Vaughn believed that this superlative Japanese automaker deserved a place in northern Saskatchewan.
