Yalın Enstitü Derneği (www.lean.org.tr), 2002 yılında, yalın felsefeyi ve düşünceyi ülke genelinde benimsetmek, yalın uygulamaları yaygınlaştırarak Türkiye’nin rekabet gücünü arttırmak ve sonuç olarak Türk sanayi ve hizmet sektörüyle işbirliği halinde işletmelerin gelişimine katkıda bulunmak amacıyla kurulmuştur.
Bugüne kadar yaklaşık olarak 600 firmada eğitim, 170 firmada danışmanlık hizmeti verilmiştir. 2013 yılı ISO 500 şirketleri arasından 124 tanesiyle (%25) eğitim ve proje danışmanlığı sebebiyle işbirliği yapılmıştır; Bursa’daki 250 Büyük Firma Araştırması’nda bu rakam 49 adettir.
Yalın Enstitü aynı zamanda TURQUALITY 1. Grup Danışman listesindedir; danışmanlık bedelinin %50’si TURQUALITY ve Marka Desteği kapsamında devlet tarafından karşılanmaktadır.
Halihazırda 50 adedin üzerinde firma ile Yalın Dönüşüm proje çalışmalarına devam edilmektedir.
