Peugeot Australia Pty. Ltd. (Sime Darby Automobiles) is the distributor of Peugeot cars throughout Australia, consisting of a network of 40 dealerships. Based in a historic automotive warehouse office in Homebush, Sydney, the team of approximately 60 people manage the product planning, marketing, sales, PR and logistics for the Peugeot brand.
As one of the world’s oldest brands, Peugeot has a rich heritage in Australia with customers still driving their 205’s, 406’s, 407’s and 307’s. Flagship models include the popular 208 and 308, thrilling RCZ, luxurious 508 sedan as well as the 4008 SUV and the new 5008 7 seat wagon. Coming soon is the exciting 208 GTi and the all new 2008 SUV.
Peugeot’s motorsport credentials include Le Mans 24Hr wins, numerous wins at the famous Nurburgring circuit and the RCZ managed to come 1st and 2nd in it’s class at the 2013 Bathurst 12hr race. This sits well alongside a well-credentialed heritage in the World Rally Championship (WRC) going back many years.
