长治医学院附属和平医院，差额事业单位。1946年7月1日成立，前身是中国人民解放军晋冀鲁豫军区白求恩国际和平医院总院，经过68年的发展壮大，现已发展成为本地区规模最大、专业齐全、设备先进、技术力量雄厚的集医疗、教学、科研、预防、保健、康复为一体的大型综合性三级甲等医院。医院编制床位1500张，年门诊量57万人次，出院病人4.4万人次，设置各类专业科室55个，其中血液内科、心血管内科为省级重点学科。现有职工2089名，其中卫生技术人员1641名，高级职称337名，博士研究生21名，硕士研究生306名，被国务院批准终身享受政府特殊津贴的专家5名。博士生导师、硕士生导师13名。
