The Pregnancy Resource Center (PRC) is an interdenominational, Christian organization that was established as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization in 1989.
The PRC works in partnership with local corporations, foundations, and individuals to provide young adults with high-quality, professional, positive alternatives to an unplanned pregnancy throughout Pittsburgh, the South Hills, Washington County, and Homestead communities. Everything is free to our clients because we’re a non-profit and supported by individuals and organizations that care.
Over the years, the PRC has expanded its services to include free pregnancy testing and options counseling; ultrasound; STD testing and treatment; post-sexual assault counseling; post-abortion counseling; IN THE KNOW Educational Programs; and other support services. In August of 2012, the PRC opened its first satellite office in Homestead, PA. In 2014, the PRC is growing again and expanding their services by purchasing a Mobile PRC Clinic.
