The SHU Rugby Alumni Association was formed for the benefit of the X-Men Rugby Club's members since the team's establishment in 1992. The association strives to connect alumni from all years as well as the current undergraduate, university team. While independent of Sacred Heart University, the association works to manage and improve self-funded programs for the benefit of current players and club alumni in the areas of:
- Business & Social Networking
- Career Advisory
- Job Placement
- Relocation Support
- Annual Scholarships for full-time undergraduate rugby team members
The Sacred Heart Rugby Alumni Association supports itself through annual giving by its members and through consideration provided in kind by its supporters.
