▪ To study the initial folding landscape of short peptides using molecular dynamics simulation and simulated annealing using GROMACS. Special emphasis is given on amyloidogenic peptides and its fragment. Development of a structural database of natural plant based compounds for virtual screening purpose. I have already prepared 1000 nutraceutical structural library with associated QSAR descriptors for computer aided drug discovery. We have identified 40 ~nm range β-secretase inhibitors that can be act as potential anti-Alzheimer agent using virtual screening in our in house developed structural database. Nano-encapsulation of some important neutraceuticals from plant origin to improve its solubility and anti-oxidant activity and also to study the influence of the nanocavity on the photo physical property of a compound by using spectroscopic and quantum chemical studies.
